This informative and interactive workshop will involve learning the techniques of interviewing in a studio setting. Mr. Lopez will be conducting this workshop in the Studio at the City of Fayetteville Television Center – come take advantage of this free version of a university-type class in which you will explore techniques that emphasize making the interview subject comfortable in order that more information is forthcoming.
This workshop is FREE to Fayetteville residents, but pre-registration is required.

About our presenter:
Jose Lopez is a graduate assistant instructor and master of arts student at the University of Arkansas, where his emphasis is documentary filmmaking through the Lemke Department of Journalism. A native of Mexico, Lopez has worked in both English and Spanish media. He has worked as a freelance reporter on and off for four years at La Prensa Libre (formerly Noticias Libres), the largest Spanish-language newspaper in Northwest Arkansas. He has been an intern and freelance reporter at The Orlando Sentinel and its Spanish weekly, El Sentinel, and an intern at El Pregonero in Washington during the 2008 election season.
